  • Proposed preliminary policy directions for the new set of planning documents

This document is a thorough analysis of the existing conditions in the Town of Amherst and examines a range of topics, including demographics, the economy, housing, the environment, land use and servicing.

That input, combined with a review of the current planning documents for what currently works and what doesn’t, will build the foundation from which we can create relevant and supportive planning strategy and land use policy for the future.
